Al-Amīr Research Journal for Islamic Studies is a tri-lingual, double-blind peer-reviewed, open-access journal published quarterly by the Malik Yar Muhammad Research Center (SMC-Private) Limited, Bahawalpur since January 2020. The journal adheres to the standards set by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan.

The journal provides a global platform for scholars in Islamic and Religious Studies to publish their research. It focuses on a wide range of topics, including Islamic learning, literature, culture, and contemporary issues in Islamic discourse, as well as the history of the Muslim world. The journal also considers research articles that explore Islam and religion through Western or interdisciplinary perspectives when relevant to its scope.
